Why do we release this app?

The HPS - Heraeus Production System - describes the principles of the way we work at Heraeus. One of our foundations builds the 5S methodology, that has been introduced throughout the company successfully. But we are never done with 5S. In order to keep improving our work areas on the shop floor, in administration and in our labs, we have a 5S audit process implemented. With this app we help reducing the time to complete a 5S audit, we deliver a standardized report to our people and we help to monitor the trend of 5S maturity throughout the company. Digital 5S - making our peoples life easier.

How do we use this app?

This app is used in the 5S audit process at Heraeus. It substitutes the 5S audit documents that were mandatory to use and helps to collect all findings and countermeasures in a more simple and intuitive way. We touch all 5S phases - Sort, Structure, Shine, Standardize, Sustain - and give a simple overview of the audit result.
This app can also be used as a non-Heraeus employee. The free version provides the same basic functionality and the same questionnaires. Nothing prevents you from improving the 5S standard in your private life.
